Duwa Kendra foundation

In Marathi, DUWA means a bridge. True to its name, the core mission of DUWA Sankalan Samvardhan Kendra is to bridge the gap between the haves and the have-nots in society.

Seven like-minded women from Pune came together with a shared vision — to give back to society what they themselves had received. United by this purpose and a strong sense of social responsibility, they founded DUWA Sankalan Samvardhan Kendra as a platform to connect resources with those who need them the most, and to create meaningful, positive change in the community.

Duwa Sankalan Samwardhan Kendra was registered on 20th August 2021 under the Trust Act. Since its inception, the organization has been successfully implementing a wide range of projects in the areas of environmental conservation, women’s empowerment, child education, skill development, and other social initiatives.

Over time, the scope and scale of its activities expanded significantly, creating the need for a broader and more structured platform. Consequently, DUWA KENDRA FOUNDATION was registered on 19th March 2025 as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act.

Our activities are primarily organized under the following focus areas:
